Disney World Competition Rules
Terms and Conditions
1. These terms and conditions apply to the “Win a trip to Disneyland Promotion”.
2. Please read these terms and conditions carefully and by participating in this Competition, all participants irrevocably agree to be bound by these terms and conditions, which will be solely interpreted by Baby Face SA
3. Baby Face SA may amend these terms and conditions at any time during the Competition, by posting such amendments on www.babyfacesa.com
4. The Competition runs from 14 January 2013 until 04 December 2013
5. The Competition may be terminated or extended at any time by Baby Face SA. In the event of such termination, all participants agree to waive (give up) any rights they may have in terms of this Competition and acknowledge that they have no recourse of any kind against Baby Face SA or its promotional agents.
6. To enter the Competition you must be 18 years old or older and live in South Africa (being a resident or a citizen). Employees and/or contractors and/or family members of any of the following companies are not eligible to enter or even claim the prizes: 1) Baby Face SA 2) Top Baby SA 3) Taurus Inc
7. To enter the Competition, entrants must be members of Baby Face SA
8. The same entrant can enter this competition no more than 3 times.
09. The winner will be announced on 05 December 2013. The judges’ decision is final and no correspondence will be entered into.
10. The winner will be notified telephonically. If the winner cannot be contacted within 10 working days, the prize will be forfeited and a new winner selected.
11. If the Grand Prize is not redeemed by 01 May 2014 it will be forfeited.
12. The winner agrees to supply a valid identification document (SA ID or passport), proof of address and any other validation procedure determined by Baby Face SA, in order to claim a prize.
13. The winner is responsible for application of VISA for himself or herself as well as 3 people he or she will be travelling with to Disneyland.
14. The winner agrees to have his/her photo taken, which may be used together with their full names by Baby Face SA for advertising and promotional purposes, without the obligation to notify or reimburse the winner.
15. The prize includes the following and is not transferable: 1) Return economy class flights from Johannesburg to Orlando, Florida including airport taxes 2) 7 night’s accommodation in Orlando on a twin / double sharing basis 3) Breakfast daily while at the hotel 4) 5 day Disneyland Resort Park Hopper Ticket 5) US VISA for South African passport holders need to be arranged by winners/guests
16. The prize excludes the following: 1) Passport 2) Meals not specified above 3) Beverages 4) Items of a personal nature, i.e. telephone calls, laundry etc. 5) Gratuities not specified above 6) Porterage not specified above 7) Visa requirements and fees
17. Passports must be valid for 6 months from date of departure from the USA. The passport must be in a good condition and have 2 blank pages available next to each other. Guests holding a passport from another country must check with the US Embassy if they require a VISA to visit the USA and arrange accordingly.
18. Pursuant to clause 17 above, the Prize is subject to the US embassy or authorities granting the winner/entrants the VISA within the scheduled travelling period. Should the entrant/winner be denied the VISA or access into the USA, the winner will accordingly forfeit the prize. The prize is therefore not transferable neither can it be exchanged for cash.
19. Variances may occur between the prizes mentioned here and the actual prizes awarded.
20. Any violation, attempt and/or suspicion to violate any of these rules will result in the immediate disqualification of the participant.
21. Entrants indemnify Baby Face SA or their respective affiliates for any loss or damage that Baby Face SA or or their respective affiliates may suffer because of the Entrant’s breach of these terms and conditions. Consequently, the Entrants agree to compensate Baby Face SA or their respective affiliates for any and all loss and damages it suffers (including consequential damages and/ or legal expenses incurred) because of the Entrant’s breach of these terms and conditions. The Entrants also agree to hold Baby Face SA or their respective affiliates harmless for any claim made against Baby Face SA or their respective affiliates by third parties due to the Entrant’s breach of these terms and conditions.
22. The prize may not be awarded if entry procedures or these terms and conditions have not been adhered to or if Baby Face SA detects and/or suspects any irregularities or fraudulent practices.
23. All participants indemnify Baby Face SA and any other company associated with the competition and its advertising agencies against any and all claims arising howsoever from their participation in this competition.
24. All participants further indemnify Baby Face SA from any claim should this Competition be called off or extended for any reason whatsoever. Consequently, all participants agree to waive any rights they may have in terms of this Competition and acknowledge that they have no recourse against Baby Face SA or the promotional agents.
25. The winner will be required to sign a detailed indemnity document prior to redeeming or delivery of a prize.
26. If required, as a result of a change in legislation by the Minister of Trade and Industry or the Department of Energy or if the Competition is declared unlawful, Baby Face SA reserves the right to terminate this competition immediately and without notice. In the event of such termination, all participants agree to waive any rights they may have accrued in terms of this Competition and acknowledge that they have no recourse against Baby Face SA or its promotional agents.
27. At the end of the competition all of Baby Face SA obligations in regard to the Competition as well as in regard to the prize shall cease to exist.
28. These terms and conditions are severable and are governed by the laws of the Republic of South Africa.
